Broadway is about to say farewell to the beautiful Weismann girls of Follies as the hit Kennedy Center production ends its limited engagement on January 22. The lush production was chosen as one of’s Top Five Shows of 2011. Directed by Eric Schaeffer, the revival offered musical theater fans a chance to see Bernadette Peters, Jan Maxwell, Danny Burstein, Ron Raines, Elaine Paige, Terri White, Jayne Houdyshell, Mary Beth Peil and Rosalind Elias all together on one stage. Each accomplished actor performed a showstopping number: from “I’m Still Here” to “Live, Laugh, Love,” the wonders never ceased.
