The Story:
Next Fall follows a five-year gay romance with one nagging issue: conflicting views on faith. When tragedy strikes one of them, the other must examine his own beliefs as well as questions from the couple’s friends and family.
Based On:
Though the playwright grew up without organized religion in his life, Nauffts has said the play grew out of his fascination with faith.
Show History:
The play premiered off-Broadway in a Naked Angels production at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre in June 2009 with the same five-member cast that went on to bow on Broadway in the show.
