Reza, a violin-playing Czech immigrant living in Dublin who is on the lookout for an Irish husband.
Davis performed off-Broadway in The 39 Steps, Wolves and Dally With the Devil before landing her role in Once. She created the part in early workshops of the show in Cambridge, and performed it again at off-Broadway’s New York Theatre Workshop before arriving on Broadway.
This is Davis’ first Tony nomination.
Davis saw the original film version of Once with her future husband Jordan on their very first movie date.
