Nielsen has appeared in Christopher Durang’s Why Torture is Wrong and the People Who Love Them, Miss Witherspoon, Betty’s Summer Vacation and Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge. Other stage credits include Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Crazy Mary, Dog Opera, Die Mommie Die!, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Green Bird and Les Liaisons Dangereuses.
