A Bash for Aunt Dan and Lemon's Opening
Aunt Dan and Lemon, Wallace Shawn's controversial 1985 play that explores the romantic friendship between an adult and a child, which nourishes an addiction to vicarious violence. Scott Elliott helms a revival presented by The new group and starring Kristen Johnston as Aunt Dan and Lili Taylor as Lemon. The cast, the company and well wishers gathered at nearby Westbank Cafe on December 17 to celebrate the opening.
