A New La Mancha Opens on Broadway
For Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, playing the Don Quixote is a dream come true. For fans of the beloved musical Man of La Mancha, having the show back on Broadway is just as dreamy. In Jonathan Kent's brand new production, which opened on December 5 at the Martin Beck, Stokes is joined onstage by Mary Elizabeth Mastratonio as Aldonza and Ernie Sabella as Sancho. After the opening night bows, the cast celebrated with Mancha composer Mitch Leigh and a starry crowd of well-wishers at World.
