A Swanky Bash for Busch's Die, Mommie, Die

We knew that Charles Busch would show us a good time. After all, the talented writer and performer has given us years of entertainment off-Broadway, a bonafide Broadway hit with The Tale of the Allergist's Wife and a new book for the upcoming Taboo. But Busch outdid himself with his new film, Die Mommie Die!, which simply had us laughing our heads off. The campy cinematic comedy had a bash at Laura Belle on October 27 to celebrate its limited release on Halloween. We hope it gets the wonderful response that it received at the Sundance Film Festival, where Busch, who wrote the flick and stars as former singing sensation Angela Arden, won a performance award.
