A Toast to the 2007 Drama Desk Nominees!
In one of the first meet-and-greets of the spring awards season, nominees for the 2007 Drama Desk Awards made the scene at a cocktail reception held on May 1 at Arte Cafe on Manhattan's Upper West Side. A mix of Broadway names and off-Broadway discoveries, the nominees mingled with members of the Drama Desk and each other. The awards will be handed out on May 20 at the LaGuardia Concert Hall, but for now, everybody was a winner! Broadway.com hustled uptown to raise a glass.
