The opening of A Very Common Procedure, by the New York debuting playwright Courtney Baron, occurred at the Lucille Lortel Theater on Christopher Street on Valentine's Day. Starring Amir Arison, Lynn Collins and Stephen Kunken, the Manhattan Class Company production was directed by Michael Greif, whose staging of Grey Gardens just celebrated its 100th performance on Broadway last week. Procedure, which tells the story of a woman mourning the loss of her infant child and the subsequent complications that arise within her relationships with the father of the child as well as the baby's doctor, will perform at the West Village playhouse through March 10. After the opening night curtain calls on February 14, the cast and creative team gathered at the midtown offices of the show's producers, MCC's Will Cantler and Bernard Telsey. Check
