Allison Janney Hosts All-Star Show for MTC's Annual Spring Gala
For the worthy cause of keeping a theater company going strong, you just can't keep a Broadway performer down. Not even on their night off! Indeed at the New York Hilton Hotel on Monday, May 7, a slew of Broadway performers—including the casts of Spring Awakening, A Chorus Line, Legally Blonde, plus Company's Raul Esparza and the dynamic duo of Donna Murphy and Michael Cerveris of LoveMusik—lent their time and talents to the Manhattan Theatre Club's annual spring gala. The black-tie event raised over $1.3 million through donations, a silent auction and, of course, tickets to the special show, which was hosted by The West Wing's Emmy Award-winning Allison Janney (a 1998 Tony nominee for her performance in A View From the Bridge).
