American Idol heartthrob turned Broadway bad boy (well, onstage at least) Ace Young made his big debut on September 12, assuming the role of Kenickie in Grease at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. The reality-TV friendly revival (which has featured no less than six small-screen alums since opening, including Young's fellow Idol alum Taylor Hicks and current stars Derek Keeling and Ashley Spencer of Grease: You're the One That I Want! fame) welcomed the new star with open arms as he took on popular tunes like "Greased Lighting" and shimmed with new co-star Janine DaVita, his sassy Rizzo.
