The cats are out of the bag, Broadway fiends! Former Spamalot co-stars David Hyde Pierce and Sara Ramirez got up impressively early on May 13 to announce the nominees for the 2008 Tony Awards. The location was the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. The time? 8:30 in the morning, when most troupers are usually out cold. Nevertheless, the Tony Award-winning twosome had the Broadway world's undivided attention, and set off a hailstorm of phone calls, emails and text messages with each nominee they revealed. Congratulations to all those honored and let the Tony pools begin!
