The stars were out on April 7 as Broadway royalty gathered for a full evening of song by legendary composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim. Playing to a sold-out audience at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, a selection of Sondheim's fabulous females, including Angela Lansbury, Barbara Walsh, Jenna Russell, Donna McKechnie and Debra Monk, took to the stage to offer highlights from Sondheim's songbook. Lovingly titled
The Ladies Who Sing Sondheim, the show was directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle and benefitted the The Acting Company, the esteemed non-profit troupe, which has fostered the careers of performers like Kevin Kline, Patti LuPone, Frances Conroy and Jeffrey Wright. Click here to join the stars!
