At Atlantic, Jesse Eisenberg & Kristen Johnston Open Scarcity
In the first mainstage offering of the new season at their home on West 20th Street, the Atlantic Theater Company welcomed a house full of friends and alums for the opening of Scarcity on Thursday, September 20. The new domestic drama by Lucy Thurber boasts a starry cast, featuring Emmy winner Kristen Johnston (who began her association with the Atlantic over a decade ago), former The Pretender TV star Michael T. Weiss and rising young movie star Jesse Eisenberg (The Squid and the Whale, upcoming Hunting Party), both of whom are making their New York stage debuts with this production. After the opening night curtain calls, the crowd, cast and creative team took a westward walk to Earth on 10th Avenue to party. And so did we. Check out the scene.
