At Gypsy, Laura Benanti Receives Some Special Guests
After the Monday night performance of the Encores! Summer Series production of Gypsy on July 22, the title role player, Miss Laura Benanti, received some extra special guests in her dressing room. Not only was her one time Into the Woods co-star Vanessa Williams present to cheer on the former Cinderella, but Benanti also welcomed stage vet Karen Moore, who (Gypsy aficionados will know) originated the role of Baby Louise on Broadway in 1959.
