Bea Arthur Makes a Splash on Broadway (and 95th Street)

Tony winner Bea Arthur is back! Bea Arthur Back on Broadway (& 95 St.) played for one night only on November 21 at Symphony Space. The event served as a benefit for the Ali Forney Center, which helps to find shelter for homeless LGBT teens. The inimitable Arthur was also in town to promote the Golden Girls DVD release. Accompanied by her longtime collaborator (and the co-creator of the show), Billy Goldenberg, Arthur was greeted backstage by familiar faces and well-wishers.
