Broadway Barks! 2003: Who Let the Dogs Out?
The Fifth Annual Broadway Barks! pet adopt-a-thon was held in Shubert Alley on July 12 and drew countless Broadway celebrities eager to help some furry friends find homes. Co-founders Bernadette Peters (currently starring in Gypsy) and TV legend Mary Tyler Moore were on hand to host the charitable event, which featured pets from a number of NYC shelters. A who's who of Broadway stopped by to lend their star power, including cast members from Hairspray, Man of La Mancha, Nine, Gypsy, Enchanted April and others. for Broadway
