Broadway’s Orfeh Gives Fans What They Want at CD Signing

“What do you want from me?” asks Tony Award nominee and big-voiced Broadway diva Orfeh on her new album (titled, aptly enough, What Do You Want From Me), which hit shelves on a high note in September. The answer? More Or(feh), as exuberant fans clearly demonstrated at the star’s CD signing and performance at the Lincoln Triangle Barnes and Noble on November 19. The bold belter, seen most recently on the Rialto as show-stopper Paulette the Beautician in <i>Legally Blonde</i>, wowed the audience with selections from her pop-tinged solo album, backed-up by Broadway sister team Brooke and Tiffany Engen and album producer/vocalist Andrew Logan. Following her performance (and well-deserved applause), Orfeh moved tableside to sign autographs, take pictures and generally harmonize with her fans and well wishers.
