Chess Returns to the Broadway Stage

Chess, the musical by ABBA/Mamma Mia! boys Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, has been a long-standing favorite among musical cultists, many of whom packed into the New Amsterdam Theatre on September 22 to witness a one-night-only Actors' Fund of America benefit concert of the show. Featured in the show were Tony winner Sutton Foster of Thoroughly Modern Millie, recording artist Josh Groban, Rent and Aida fave Adam Pascal, Norm Lewis, Jonathan Dukochitz and Julia Murney in the role of Florence Vassey, a woman torn between the love of two men.
