Christian Slater Takes a Meeting with Bill W. and Dr. Bob
Film star Christian Slater, whose struggles with chemical addiction over the years have been well documented in the media, did the new sober-chic thing to do in New York these days, when on Wednesday, April 18, he took in a performance of the off-Broadway hit Bill W. and Dr. Bob, which chronicles the humble beginnings of the two founders of Alcoholics Anonymous. After the play, the actor who starred on Broadway last season as tormented Tom Wingfield in Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie, stepped backstage at the New World Stages for a few pics with the cast.
