The divine deities of Xanadu had miles and miles and miles of heart June 27, as the stars of the upcoming Encores! production of Damn Yankees dropped in on their co-star Cheyenne Jackson's heavenly stomping (and roller-skating) grounds. Team players Veanne Cox, Megan Lawrence, Sean Hayes and Xanadu star Cheyenne Jackson (who is taking a summer vacation from the show to play ball with the Yankees) all traded their playing field for the audience at the Helen Hayes Theatre, cheering on the colorful Xanadu squad alongside fellow visitor, actor Victor Garber. Backstage, the stars of the two shows mixed and mingled, catching up while escaping the summer heat. But now that the Yankees have shown their support, will the Xanadu crew return the favor once Encores! opens July 5? We hope so! Click here to play ball with Xanadu and Damn Yankees.
