Hairspray Recording
Hairspray, the new Broadway musical based on John Waters' ebullient 1980s movie, hasn't even started performances yet at the Neil Simon Theatre and it already looks like a hit, thanks to a smashing run in Seattle last month. As is becoming common these days, the stars of the show gathered together at Right Track Studios to make the original cast recording, which will be out on Sony Classical later this summer. Broadway.com was there to join in the fun.
