Harvey Fierstein and several of his Hairspray costars took time out during the April 9 matinee to pose with some adorable puppies from North Shore Animal League on Long Island. The plush pooches were there to spread word about the North Shore Tour for Life, which is happening throughout April, bringing mobile adoption units to 23 U.S. cities to help find adoptive homes for cats and dogs in local shelters. The tour will culminate with a global Pet Adoptathon on May 3 and 4. For more info on North Shore, visit their website.
