Off-Broadway's Heat Lightning, a new musical by George Griggs and Paul Andrew Perez, opened on March 5 at the Kirk Theatre. Set in a modern middle-America suburb, this story (based on Ovid's myth of Cephalus and Procris) follows Seth, an Elvis-obsessed country-rock singer who finds himself in an affair with a fan from a gig at a local club. After the curtain fell on their opening night, the cast and crew headed to B. Smith's on Restaurant Row to party like the King himself. Check out our photos from the event!
