H'wood Friends Come Out For Imaginary Friends
Nora Ephron was certainly able to count on her Hollywood friends to come and support her first Broadway venture, Imaginary Friends. At the show's starry opening on December 12, celebs from both stage and screen took in the show—a funny play with music about the rivalry between Lillian Hellman and Mary McCarthy. The showy performances by Cherry Jones and Swoosie Kurtz as the feuding literary ladies had the crowd on its feet during the final bows. After the show, everyone headed east to Gustavino's to dine and dance at the afterparty.
