Good morning, Antionette Perry! The powers-that-be of the duel organizations that sponsor the Tony Awards—the American Theatre Wing and the League of American Theatres and Producers—gathered at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center on the morning of Tuesday, May 15, to announce the nominees of the 61st annual Tony Awards. Along with the leaders of the Wing and the League, CBS Early Show co-host Harry Smith (whose network will air the Tonys on June 10) was also on hand for the special event, as well as two glamorous stars from the Great White Way who had the honor of revealing this year's Tony Award nominees, original Rent-er Taye Diggs and Nine Tony winner Jane Krakowski.
