Long Day's Journey Into Opening Night
Yes, it's a long play. And because of its length, the opening night party for the starry revival of Long Day's Journey Into Night got started rather late on May 6. But no matter. The party at Tavern on the Green took no time at all to get into full swing. Stars Brian Dennehy, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Robert Sean Leonard and Vanessa Redgrave arrived at the fete soon after the curtain came down at the Plymouth Theatre--and once again they were greeted with praise and applause.
