That voice. That resume! And did we mention that voice? Wickedly talented Broadway alum Stephanie J. Block, who’s enjoying a little downtime between the West Coast premiere and spring debut of her upcoming Broadway return in 9 to 5, hit the recording studio on December 15, stepping into the sound booth to start laying tracks for her forthcoming solo album. While the album, an assortment of newly written and/or never recorded musical theater tunes set to be released in April 2009, will mark her solo debut, Block is studio pro, having appeared on the cast recordings for The Boy From Oz, The Pirate Queen, and The Wicked 5th Anniversary.
