MCC Opens Nixon's Nixon Off-Broadway

The Manhattan Class Company's revival of Russell Lees' political two-hander Nixon's Nixon—which envisions the conversation that transpired between President Richard Nixon and Secretary of State Henry Kissinger on the eve of Nixon's resignation in the summer of 1974—opened October 4 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in Greenwich Village. Ten years after the show's original off-Broadway run, director Jim Simpson reteamed his original stars, Gerry Bamman (as Nixon) and Steve Mellor (as Kissinger). We caught up with the seasoned company members at their post-show party in producer Bernard Telsey's Studio Loft in Hell's Kitchen. Check it out.
