We’ve been following American Idol all season, and we certainly weren’t about to stop now—not when winner Kris Allen and runner-up Adam Lambert were in New York City, mere blocks away from the Broadway.com offices! They had a whirlwind week—Lambert took in Hair and caught up with some old pals backstage—culminating in a May 27 performance on NBC’s Today show. Broadway.com got up early so that you’d have the best seat in the house.
