Mr. Abbott Honors Broadway Director Jack O'Brien

Jack O'Brien would seem to be on a roll. In the past few seasons, he has given Broadway the joyful musical The Full Monty, the accomplished drama The Invention of Love and New York's biggest current smash hit, Hairspray. Next week will see the opening of yet another O'Brien production, Nora Ephron's Imaginary Friends. On top of everything, O'Brien was honored on December 2 with the Mr. Abbott Award at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers. Presented by the Stage Directors and Choreographer s Foundation Inc., the annual awards toasts the best and brightest staging talents. Congrats, Jack!
