MTC Rechristens the Biltmore Theatre in Honor of Samuel J. Friedman

Legendary Broadway publicist Samuel J. Friedman passed away in 1974, but somewhere his spirit was smiling on September 4. In addition to Mayor Bloomberg proclaiming the day as Samuel J. Friedman Theatre Day, Broadway's historic Biltmore Theatre was rechristened as—you guessed it—the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre! Also on hand were members of Manhattan Theatre Club's prestigious board of directors and cast members from their upcoming production of To Be Or Not To Be.
