Opening at City Center, MTC's American Pilot Takes Flight
On November 21, the Manhattan Theatre Club opened their latest production at their midtown residence at City Center, the U.S. premiere of David Greig's political drama The American Pilot. A former success in London, the play was staged by MTC Artistic Director Lynne Meadow and stars Aaron Staton (a one-time Sky from Mamma Mia!) in the title role. Following the Tuesday night curtain call, we joined the company around the corner at the Greek restaurant Golyvos for an opening night toast.
