It’s Britney in the barrio! No one, not even Britney Spears can resist the sultry, hip-swinging allure of Tony Award-winning smash hit In The Heights. The pop diva enjoyed the Latin-flavored musical on September 30, when she took a break from working on her upcoming album, Circus, to hit the Great White Way for a little well-earned rest and relaxation. The show's home at the Richard Rodgers Theatre offered Spears a safe haven from the flashing lights of the paparazzi (who were out in full effect) for a few blissful hours, allowing the star to take in the action on the streets of Washington Heights in peace and quiet. After the cast’s final bows, Britney headed backstage to pay her respects to the show’s talented cast and crew, all of whom were thrilled with their visit by the surprise guest.
