Patrick Hamilton's 1929 thriller
Rope is being revived off-Broadway. The play, which opened on December 4, was inspired by the true story of Leopold and Loeb and concerns two Oxford students who try to commit the perfect murder. (You may know the story from the famous screen adaptation that was directed by none other than Alfred Hitchcock).
Rope, a co-production of the Zipper and the ever-hip Drama Dept., celebrated after their opening night performance at nearby Camino Sur. Yes, it was a killer good time.
