Rosie O'Donnell headed to the Helen Hayes Theatre (with cute son Parker in tow) to see new cast member Whoopi Goldberg spread some heavenly joy in Xanadu on August 1. O'Donnell and Goldberg have a lot in common, of course. Both are hilarious. Both have hearts that belong to the Great White Way. (Goldberg first gained national recognition in 1984 with her solo debut at the Lyceum Theatre; she and O'Donnell have worked on productions both onstage and off since.) Last but not least, both have hosted The View, a job that's made them welcome morning presences thanks to their gift for straight-shooting gab and button-pushing savvy. Yup, Rosie and Whoopi are two of a kind (if you'll pardon the reference to the movie Olivia Newton-John starred in after she made Xanadu). Click on for a great View from backstage!
