Roundabout Reveals Cast for Revival of Old Acquaintance

At their rehearsal hall in midtown Manhattan, the Roundabout Theatre Company unveiled their cast for the Broadway revival of Old Acquaintance on Thursday, May 3. As directed by Michael Wilson (Enchanted April), the 1940 drawing-room comedy about two girlhood friends reunited (and the conflicts that ensue) will star Margaret Colin (Jackie) and Harriet Harris (a Tony Award winner for Thoroughly Modern Millie) in the roles made famous in the movies by Bette Davis and Miriam Hopkins, respectively. From the popular author of Bell, Book and Candle, John Van Druten, Old Acquaintance will begin performances at the American Airlines Theatre on June 1. For a sneak peek at the company, click on.
