Roundabout's Annual Spring Gala Goes Retro

The annual Roundabout Theater Company Gala was feeling groovy April 7 as some of the biggest names on Broadway made their way to the Roseland Ballroom for a night of song, stars and all-around good vibes. The Roundabout hosted a 1960s themed fete and musical revue titled "Feeling Groovy: Pop Songs of the 1960s" (directed by Tony Award winner and Roundabout alum Kathleen Marshall) in celebration of the dynamic decade and vibrant works which have defined the company since its opening in 1965. The revue, which featured performances by far-out stars like Rosie Perez, Kelli O'Hara, Alan Cumming, Jenna Russell and Brian D'Arcy James (all alums of the theater company), punctuated a festive evening with a very positive aura.
