Sidd's Spiritual Off-Broadway Opening

Who knew that Herman Hesse's novel Siddhartha would ever find itself on the New York stage? And with an 11 o'clock number?! But lo and behold, on March 15, the musical adaptation,Sidd, composed by Doug Silver and with book, lyrics, and direction by Andrew Frank, opened off-Broadway at mid-town Manhattan's New World Stages (formerly Dodger Stages). The show, which chronicles one man's lifelong spiritual journey across the world, enjoyed a celebration on site after the bows. Here's to an enlightened run!
