Stage Stars Take to the Dais at Drama League Awards Luncheon
If you were looking for a Broadway star midday on May 11, chances are he or she was sitting on the multi-level dais in the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis Hotel. That's when and where the Drama League held its annual awards soiree, a luncheon in which 60-plus stars of the season's best Broadway (and off-Broadway) shows gathered to celebrate their achievements. Liev Schreiber became the man of the hour when he was singled out for the group's Distinguished Performance Award, presented by last year's winner, Christine Ebersole.
