Stars Get Miscast for MCC
Imagine Daphne Rubin-Vega in The Sound of Music, Kristin Chenoweth in Dreamgirls, Denis O'Hare as Chicago's Roxie Hart and Debbie Gravitte as Billy Flynn. Hard to picture, huh? Well, that's the idea behind the MCC Theater benefit Miscast, which was an evening of Broadway stars singing songs from roles they would never play. One word: hilarious. The benefit, directed by Hairspray co-creator Scott Wittman, was held at Bridgewaters at the South Seaport on April 19. Take a look!
