Stars Offer Broadway on Broadway to Sea of Fans
At the start of every fall season Broadway struts its stuff for the public at Broadway on Broadway. The free event in Times Square attracts around 50,000 people who are honored with the best the Great White Way has to offer--numbers from the majority of currently running musicals and some sneak peaks at upcoming shows. This year the event as hosted by Sweet Charity leading lady Christina Applegate and Dirty Rotten Scoundrel John Lithgow and fell on September 18, a beautiful day in New York City. Broadway.com had an all access pass to all the happenings onstage, behind-the-scenes and on the confetti-filled streets.
