The Men of Caine Mutiny Enjoy a Classy Opening Night

What's the ideal spot to celebrate a play that first graced Broadway more than 50 years ago, by an author who turns 91 on May 27? Sardi's, of course: The theater district's classic eatery welcomed playwright Herman Wouk and the cast of The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial after the revival's opening night performance at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. (Like Awake and Sing! at Belasco Theatre, Caine Mutiny is back in its original home, which was known as the Plymouth on opening night in 1954).
