The Two Mrs. Lovetts Toast at Acting Company's Annual Ball
On Monday, October 23, within hours of reports that Angela Lansbury would return to Broadway this season in the new Terrence McNally play Deuce, the 81-year old lady was out in public and hobnobbing with her theater pals. That evening, along with her Deuce co-star Marian Seldes, Lansbury jutted down to the Cipriani Wall Street for the Acting Company's Annual Masquerade Costume Ball, where one of Juilliard's most famous graduates, Patti LuPone, was being honored. Featuring performances from The Drowsy Chaperone's Tony-winning Man in Chair Bob Martin and that multi-award winning diva Audra McDonald, it was a gala event we couldn't pass up.
