Theater's Best Gather at Drama League Awards Luncheon

The annual Drama League luncheon attracts a large group of the season's brightest stars to a multi-tier dais where they share lunch and say a word of thanks. This year's event, held May 5 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, was ably emceed by Alan Cumming of The Threepenny Opera. Honorees ranged from Broadway big names (Julia Roberts and Harry Connick, Jr. made the scene) to off-Broadway breakout performers like Red Light Winter's Christopher Denham. Christine Ebersole of Grey Gardens was singled out for the season's Distinguished Performance Award. Broadway.com joined the ladies (and gentlemen) who lunch.
