Shrek, meet… Shrek? The gassiest green star on the Great White Way may be a true original, but he got a visit from the one man who paved the way for ogres in pop culture: comedian and actor Mike Myers! Myers, who gave voice to the animated film incarnation of the now classic storybook character, couldn’t stay away any longer, finally dropping in to catch Broadway’s Shrek on January 16, and the original ogre-orator was sure to visit with his contemporary, leading man and live-action Shrek Brian d’Arcy James. The pair met up and goofed off backstage, discussing the finer points of swamp-dwelling while yukking it up over d’Arcy James’ great green get-up. Click here to check out their introductions!
