Cigar-chomping, Sardi's-dining, cape-wearing, chorine-pinching... That's the definition of a Broadway producer, right? Not in this case--except for the Sardi's part. The four men (Richard Frankel, Steven Baruch, Tom Viertel and Marc Routh), who make up the Frankel-Baruch-Viertel-Routh Group are producers, nevertheless. In recent years, they have brought The Producers, Hairspray and Little Shop of Horrors to the Great White Way. To celebrate their accomplishments, Jujamcyn Theaters honcho hosted a party on June 23 at Sardi's for the quartet and presided over the unveiling of their caricatures.
