At Playwrights Horizons, A Feminine Ending Opens
As directed by the 5-time Emmy nominated actress Blair Brown, the New York premiere of Sarah Treem's new drama A Feminine Ending officially began its run at off-Broadway's Playwright Horizons on October 17. Starring film and stage veterans Marsha Mason and Richard Masur, as well as newcomers Gillian Jacobs, Alec Beard and Joe Paulik, A Feminine Ending examines the questions of how a young woman learns to trust her own voice in "a man's world." After the Wednesday night curtain calls, we joined the company at Playwright Horizons's traditional opening night gathering spot: the West Bank Café, across the street from their playhouse on West 42 Street.
