Denzel Washington Takes a Trip Down Memory Lane at A Soldier's Play

The pressure very well could have been on for the talented cast of A Soldier's Play on November 6. Why? Well, there was someone very familiar with the play in the audience: Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington! Not only is the celeb's stature something to think about, he also stared in the original off-Broadway production of Charles Fuller's Pulitzer Prize-winning play and the film version (which was titled A Soldier's Story). So, did the actors show their nerves about having a famous face in the audience? Nah. They were "at ease," if you will. Washington headed backstage at Second Stage to congratulate the cast after the show. Take a look!
