Story
Already a multi-national award winner, Beast on the Moon is a rich, funny and compassionate play by American scribe Richard Kalinoski that makes its New York debut this spring at the Century Center for the Performing Arts.
In Beast on the Moon, an Armenian [IMG:L]mail-order bride comes to Milwaukee in 1921 to begin a life with her new husband, Aram, played by Tony nominee Omar Metwally. However, both are tormented by the Armenian genocide. He desperately wants a large family, but she is barren from the years of torture and starvation she endured. Then a young stranger enters their lives and changes them forever. Tony nominee Louis Zorich plays an older gentleman who tells the tale.
